What are you thankful for?

This month we celebrate Thanksgiving. During this time we like to focus on the things for which bike-freedomwe are thankful. Relationships with our families and friends are probably on the top of this list, and because this is a bike club newsletter, most likely cycling is way up on the list of things you are thankful for too.

So many of you have shared your love of cycling with your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and have helped them to find what they enjoy most about this sport. Recently, a really amazing way of helping folks to get interested in using and enjoying bikes came across my desk…

HRBike member, Chris Calatrello is helping some of his clients by getting them road worthy bikes to serve their basic needs for transportation. Chris, has started a crowd-funding campaign to raise money to buy bikes, components, safety equipment, etc., for his community mental health services clients. Continue reading
