We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of Debra Ann Bradley, Melissa Ann Fevig-Hughes, Fred Anton “Tony” Nelson, Lorenz John “Larry” Paulik, and Suzanne Joan Sippel for the loss of their loved ones in this senseless tragedy. We also are keeping Paul Douglas Gobble, Sheila Diane Jeske, Jennifer Lynn Johnson, and Paul Lewis Runnels in our thoughts as they recover from their serious injuries resulting from this incident.

HRBike president, Tim Harrison, says there are three important things to know about the 2016 ERV100. First, retired cycling superstars George Hincapie & Christian Vande Velde will attend the 12891049_908607399236608_977370759249182513_o ride; second, the date of the ERV has changed to Sunday, August 28 to accommodate their appearance; and third, George Powell is the coordinator of this year’s event!

Bob Crook Recognized for Special Contribution to HRBike

At the Spring Bike Club meeting on Thur. April 21, we recognized Bob Crook for his years of dedication to Highland Rim Bicycle Club and local cycling events.

Ken & Debbie Gamache put together a lovely evening complete with the presentation of a book they created called “The Book of Bob” (BOB). The BOB contains memories and/or pictures submitted by Bob’s cycling friends. A surprise party was held for Bob after the club meeting, a day before his 80th birthday.
