Event: Ride of Silence
Event: Ride of Silence
When: 7:00 PM
Where: Frazier McEwen Park, Tullahoma, TN
The annual Ride of Silence is a free ride that asks its cyclists to ride no faster than 9 mph, wear helmets, follow the rules of the road and remain silent during the ride. There are no national sponsors and no registration fees. The ride, which is held during National Bike Month, aims to raise the awareness of motorists, police and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways. The ride is also a chance to show respect for and honor the lives of cyclists who have been killed or injured.
Participants are asked to arrive at Frazier McEwen Park in Tullahoma, TN no later than 6:45 pm with the ride departing promptly at 7 pm.
The ride is open to all interested persons and is a family friendly event. We'll be riding no more than 9 mph and have a local police escort. You can view the route map on RideWithGPS .
Helmets are required, front and rear lights are strongly recommended.
