There’s No Place Like Home
Rides right here in our own home town are beautiful, why not share a day of sight seeing with friends and family right here at home… just travel via your bikes.
Sure, most of us have 1 or 2 extras in our garage that we can fix up for visiting family and friends for the day.
On this day in early April, we showed our son, Josh, and his girl friend, Buffy, around our area. They were visiting here from Oregon and were loving the sunshine and warm days. We took a leisurely paced ride out through Cumberland Springs and over to Motlow. It was pleasant riding through the beautiful campus. As we rode along, we enjoyed looking at wild flowers and birds. Both, Josh & Buffy work in Biology fields, so they loved the local flora and fauna.
We took them to the springs on Shipman Creek and then back into town via Ledford Mill. We stopped at my favorite coffee shop, Celtic Cup for a treat and a time to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of busling T’town.
We found this a great way to show Buffy our new home town and to get some exercise too.
